The Graceful Eyre and The Cherry Blossom Tree

Recently Focus Feautres released breathtaking stills from the newest adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s "Jane Eyre", staring Mia Wasikowska and the ever brilliant Michael Fassbender.

This classic story has been retold many times and one of my personal favorites has been the BBC 2006 mini-series version with Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson. That being said, when this Cary Fukunaga version was announced, I couldn't help but be excited for it due to the fact that Michael had been attached to the project. This man is going to be HUGE in Hollywood in the next couple of years (I mean serious A-List material for sure)! Most will know him from Inglourious Basterds, but for me his breakout role has to be Bobby Sands from the 2008 film Hunger. He is an extraordinary talent and I truly look forward to what he will bring to the role of Edward Rochester (Mia is quite fantastic as well, but I only know her work from In Treatment).

To bring this post back into focus about style/fashion, here are a few pretty stills from the upcoming movie with the gorgeous costumes. Take a look in particular at the stunning shot with the Cherry Blossom Tree (or Magnolia, I'm not sure):
